  3. If dying in the past would mean being in the present, does it mean, SRQ also died in the past to be in the present? Did he commit suicide? If yes, then it means his feelings for the princess is genuine. There are too many unanswered questions yet. But, I’m living with the old couple banters. Excited for the next episodes.   6. This is the only show in a while which I’ve not had to skip some parts. The story doesn’t get drawn out and plot points are hit accurately. Not to mention the acting is amazing. Loving this show so far, the quality of each episode remains consistently great.

  7. Little things that he does…. ughhh my heart just cannot help but to flutter
    – compliment her character when dealing with the corpse of concubine from Yang family
    – make calming incense when she was anxious
    – asking what worries her while accompany her playing chess
    – “i’ll pick you up everyday, so you wont be lonely”

    If this oblivious man still offering Li Rong to marry Su Rong Qing im gonna smack his head lol

  11. lol I get why he was giving her plans to nab another man on their wedding night but it was still funny, and she didn’t like it either hmm. it’s looking like she’s all in this time again, but he hasn’t caught on yet.

    i like the princess’ arrogance, but I hope she’s humble enough to see that she needs to unlearn and learn a lot. when it comes to emotional intelligence, character judgment and self reflection, she’s miles behind the ml.

    i feel bad for the cp, even with all the things that changed in this life his path is still the same.
    that emperor doesn’t want to be manipulated by the noble families, but is fine with being manipulated by his favorite consort..

  12. The topic raised in this episode is if Su was also reborn as suggested by their chat with the crown prince. If so, why didn’t he accept the princess at the Spring Banquet, even though she had warned him that someone else would keep the “books” if he didn’t? He had only this one chance to change their fate and if he as reborn he should have grapped it.

Both the last life empress and the Second Young master Su plotted together to bring the royal family down for revenge and to put her son as emperor and with Su managing the court
    and was the last life crown prince the emperor or the First master Su’s real son ?

  16. It’s so interesting to see these back and forths, you can see who fell for who and how they really were before they were married to basically a position and how it changed them. So many hearts broken in the first timeline, hopefully things can change this time around.
