3. ⚠ Spoilers Ahead!

   I was bursting with excitement when this drama came on but so far what we got was the usual trope, the dumb ‘blonde’ in perpetual distress, the unrequited love and disgusting scenes of the woman begging her love interest for love, the usual ‘foreplay’ (fighting) between the pair that will eventually ship, etc.

   The ‘twist’ here is that we have a hidden chaebol heir, Yeo Ui-Joo, the second grandson of the Masung Group. So when will his hidden identity come to light? Probably there will be a light bulb moment when his mentally challenged mom speaks out.

   There are some unexplained backstories too. How did Su-Jeong’s dad accumulate that much money to open a guest house? After all, he was a menial laborer. doing odd jobs. Opening a guest house required a ton of money. By the look of it, it is not doing well, since they have only one house guest, Ui-Joo. Funny how he managed the guest house all by himself, cleaning, cooking and running errands. He must be an AI robot!

   Even more funny, Ui-Joo and Su-Jeong had not met yet in the house, even after he had moved in for so many days. The funniest of all was that her dad did not get to tell her about how she and him helped to deliver Ui-Joo and save her bionic mom – she was hit by a car, dropped into a ravine and she and the then-unborn Ui-Joo survive.

   The mother of all ‘funny’ was that Su-Jeong is 7 years older than Ui-Joo which is certainly a mismatch. This is a no-no. She will be 45, of menopause age, when he is still at the peak of his sexual drive. Maybe he is like President Macron, with a very low sex drive, who married his high school teacher, old enough to be his mom. Tsk! Tsk!
