  1. Would it be asking too much if there is a plague wipes out these MILs husbands, just so the women can compete on how THEY THEMSELVES are righteous widows? Its always easy to say when you are oppressing others. Which one of those MILs would pick up a white cloth or a knife so they can be awarded a title?! Do they not have daughters that are married out?! Do they want their daughters oppressed too?

  2. a damn good drama I’d say. the story is intriguing, emotional, fun and intelligent. the actors doing awesome work

  3. God forbid,
Trafficking in children, abusing children just because they are poor and not of interest to the authorities, upsets me a lot.
    This world is screwed up.

  4. His disguise in order to go incognito, he looks like a Bedouin from the Sahel lmao
    So funny !
I’m sure she’ll give him some advice to have a proper one 😉

  5. It’s scary how the FIL pretends to be all righteous but he is the most treacherous of the lot!
So he could be the one who had a hand in her brother being missing amongst other things

  6. I had a good laugh watching this drama..the palaquin scene ?? even the father in law get scared..

  7. So far Knight Flower and A Shop for Killers gain my attention after watching 1st 2 episode.

  8. I think her “husband” was dead long before she got in that carriage to head to the ceremony and that will be the loophole to get her away from her “in laws”. She came from a decent family, but not anywhere near the prestige of her inlaws. Also she was a orphan living with a uncle that we haven’t seen since the flashbacks. So I doubt she had any kind of dowry and her uncle had no political connections. Add on top of that her personality, not the demure noble wife type, there is no reason why her inlaws would want her for their son. Unless they needed someone strictly for the role of widow. Someone with no family to question the validity of a marriage that was not only not consummated, but one that had no ceremony. Someone who they could abuse into becoming the perfect martyr widow to give their family the clout their dead son couldn’t. Either he was sick, was injured in a accident, or was murdered. But I have a strong feeling they conned her into the role of widow.

  9. Imagine making your daughter in-law (DELETE HERSELF) because you want some status- if this were real I imagine some families would outright (eardrummer) the girl…..

  10. Oh dear. Boy is smitten at the thought of her head-bumping him. Hahaha. Royal Secretary and Yeon Sun are cute too. I figure she’s probably around 18 or 19 and Royal Secretary is probably around 30. And Cho Sung Hoo, he’s definitely Yeo-hwa’s brother. So he’s not dead, but is missing. I’m guessing he’s the one who has the jade.

I think Soo-ho is kinda careless here, or maybe he’s still wet behind the ears as an officer. That’s why he’s got nothing on Kang Pil-jik. He’s gotta make smarter moves. When he straight up went to confront Kang and arrest him, I thought that was such a stupid move, as if that’s gonna work? It’s like the police arresting a suspect without concrete evidence and they gotta free him eventually and it will be even harder to gather evidence coz the suspect knows the police will be on his tail now. But what do I know, I guess he needed a reason to lure Kang away from the inn so that they get a chance to search the place.

Soo-ho has definitely gotta work smarter and be more flexible if he wants to defeat Kang because Kang is not even the big boss here. Yeo-hwa make be lacking in some way and perhaps she’s reckless, but at least she’s getting things done so far. Things are probably gonna make more progress next week with the death of Yeom. I’m guessing it could be related to his wife. And that guy whom they suspect is the killer, I’m guessing the widow he went to see is the other widow who served porridge with Yeo-hwa.

Seriously, these “rules and instructions” for women are ridiculous. That book transcribed by the queen dowager. Lol. Burn that book!!!!

  11. This drama is actually good. I like how they add some comedic effect especially the fl. I am always excited for the next ep.

  12. The scheme from 15yrs ago seem to be so deep. I’m really excited to see how and what happened to the former King. It looks like left minister was also involved probably to gain power be controlling the king. The owner of mungdon Inn my not make it to the end of the drama. I love how complicated the main problem is like its not straight forward, it has layers where both men and wives are involved.

  13. As complicating and interwoven the cases may be, so are the people involved, which means people who are investigating are somehow connected to the infiltrators. So it goes round and round to get anyone and everyone involved…even writing this makes me fuzzy!

Anyway, I m enjoying the very soft lady in the day and very brutal/ man in the night, he/she is now getting used to drinking and she is loving it! Honey is so funny playing her role so so very well. KUDOS to the creators of this drama

  14. Damn… the case is quite dark actually. Child trafficking is very vile. Hope they handle this with care and give the bad guys proper punishment.

Love our duo! Cant wait for them to OFFICIALLY work together ?

  15. It’s been more than a decade but I instantly recognized Mishil’s Theme from Queen Seon Deok at 21:22 !! my brain chemistry was forever altered by that drama

  16. this ml?, now i get why his brother kept insisting he lay low. i hope he won’t get the knight flower in trouble. when yeo hwa finally figures out her fil’s deal, i hope she won’t hesitate bc of all the fake niceness he’s shown her

  17. This can only end with her faking her own death so she can run away a be free- her mother in-law is obsessed!

  18. Were the ML more lateral thinking rather *nal retentive, he’d use the Masked Hero to gather intelligence for him to make his arrests stick. But the web of criminals stretches quite high, it seems.

  19. I was wondering who was the main villian in the drama, and I’m glad it turned out to be him. It should act as a catalyst to get her away from that family. Making bank of kidnapping and selling of children. I hope she destroys him and any working for him.

  20. hak should go for the other widow, so both brothers would each pair with one, instead he likes the look challanged servent…

    fan of choi yuhwa.

  21. I just love Honey Lee (FL). She always brings a character to life in a unique way. Such a great comedic actress!?

  22. I knew this drama would be up my alley the moment I saw Honey Lee on the promos. I love the comedy aspects to this drama. Now onto waiting for the next episodes 🙁

  23. FL & her MIL scene of teaching her how to come out like butterfly from that palanquin..lol..at one time she rolled near her leg..was so hilarious..haha

her MIL was showing off that 1 book whole epi..omg they r just so..
both FL & ML together r so much fun…both looks like have crush on each other..as he was also never in love & she also never was able to fall in love…& on top FL (as masked hero) is crush of ML`s friend, who stays with him most of the time

looks like that finance minister`s wife only killed him..in preview the suspected widow looks like the other widow from yesterday`s epi

  24. I’m quite enjoying this drama so far. Things are getting a bit complicating, since Yeo Hwa’s father in law knows Pil Jik, then he’s probably involved in the officer’s family’s murder.

  25. I don’t trust the woman doing charity work at all! She might be the one providing the kids for sale pretending to be noble.

Mannn I have to say I love love FL, she is so funny and entertaining. Comedy queen.
