  2. I liked the drama. Dora’s mom won the award for worst mom in dramas.
    It was a happy ending but I would have liked to see the 2nd wedding of PS ans DR

  3. Good ending, DR finally won! good her mother acted as shes dead to them for 2 years in a temple. Best thing she ever did for her kids is disappear finally. Tc chingu’s!

  5. Was it perfect? No. But for a family drama it was good enough to watch and stay till the end (I’ve seen worse dramas). The moms as always are the worst characters to ever exist. The ending was good but I don’t think Do Ra’s mom got what she deserved. Being rejected by all of her children was too easy as a punishment for everything she did.

  6. Very Satisfying with the ending. I like the ending.

    1) I loved the dementia grandmother, ,her acting is very good and very entertaining,
    Grandma rewards for saving Do Ra lives that she gained a grand daughter DR and her 2 brothers Do Sik& Do Jun, grand son in law PS & 2 great grand daughters.
    DR & PS taking care of grandma well being.

    2) As for PS biological mother Su Yeon, PS finally acknowledge her as a mother, SY was so happy and touched that she cried. PS also acknowledge Jin Teak as a father, both was so delighted that they gained a son and also 2 grand daughters. I like Gong Jin Teak character in this drama, JT is very humble man, great wisdom, kind and generous,
    JT scolded his wife SY for being selfish and inconsiderate without thinking DR suffering and added burden to DR, JT ask his wife SY to set things right and go to PS mother Sun Yeong and convince her to apologise and comfort DR and think of her son PS happiness, Both of them apologised to DR and given seal of approval and blessing for PS & DR relationship and accept her as her daughter in law. DR was so delighted and she cried with relief. Very touching and it make me cry.

    3) Do Jun and Ma Ri got engaged and went to US to study and came back after 2 years later. They have their happiness.

    4) PS &. DR are happily married and ended up with twins
    Both got their awards DR as best actress and PS as best director

    5) DR brother Do Sik and PS aunt Myeong Dong broke up and that is the best thing for both of them and both of them found their own partner and have their own happiness.

    Punishments

    DR Mom lives in the temple and her children Do Ra, Do Sik & DO Jun sever ties with her and abandon her for good. She deserves it because she is not worthy to be their mother.
    She is Despicable, Greedy, Selfish and Shameless.
    She is so disgusting, went to Ma Ri house and demands compensation from Ma Ri parents for her son and criticised Ma Ri for being abnormal and idiot. Good things that they refused to give in to her demands and she get nothing from Ma Ri parents. Serves her right.

    JD got his punishments in prison and bullied by the inmates.
    JD refuses to acknowledge Jin Sang Gu as his biological father and Sang Gu deserves his punishments for being abandon by JD and being bullied by inmates too for protecting JD.

    JD mother AK end up lonely and work as a waitress for a living to support herself,
    No more running around happily gossip and spreading rumours.
    Serves her right, she tasted her own medicine.

  7. Seems like I’m the minority who didn’t enjoy this drama lol. The next drama ” Iron family” synopsis seems interesting, there’s some mystery to it too I like that.

  8. I love you guys , but I hope we never meet in another drama again. But whatever you’re watching next , please leave it in comments … in case I stop by .

    To come clean , I’ve ALWAYS hated PD … and I pitied PLS oppa. My favourite characters will be the psycho GJDan & PD’s mum & GRANDMA …. I truly wish the best for them in future endeavors. Especially the writers who wrote them…

    I probably will NEVER recommend this show to anyone sane.

  11. Initial 7,8 eps are okay until they breakup. From then this turns into complete mess and never recovered.

    They just busy in portraying Dora as biggest victim in entire universe without giving any proper character arc.

    Leads love story is one of the soulless and meaningless. They never get to know each other on personal level. No emotional bond, nothing. Keeping aside whatever drama shows, in my opinion their relationship won’t last in long run.

    If i look back and tries to understand what this drama is about and what writers tries to convey through these characters?. I got nothing. It something we have to decide ourselves.

  12. I kinda satisfied with the ending. Best thing of this drama was Mari dojun n Mari’s parents. Especially her dad. PS’s halmoni was the most confusing character making me hate her n then like her😂😂. Jd was the funniest character. I just couldn’t hate him. Ps was the most pitiful character having to go thro so much coz of his blind love. Dementia halmoni was really cute ☺️. Her acting was so good.

    M gonna miss mari n dojun. Not to forget aunt’s breakup was so satisfying

  13. I can’t believe DR’s mother insulted JT and SY about Mari being dumb and asked for a compensation. This woman is beyond shameless and tactless, no wonder her children cut off any contact with her. That’s her punishment.

  15. As far as I’m concerned, this kdrama has been one of the best 50+ episode family series in the last 2, 3 years. This one I could watch, even though I skipped scenes with various characters. But compared to e.g. “Young Lady and Gentleman”, the latter (for me) was atrocious.

    This show was believable, in fact that’s why I liked it, and if I only liked Lim Soo-Hyang (Park Do Ra) so far, she has now earned my respect as an actress.

    The show included deep topics from real life, which can happen to anyone, and in fact do happen: family abuse due to addictions; emotional blackmail due to insecurity and lack of self-confidence – PS’s mother; depression, mental imbalance, lack of self esteem and self love due to trauma, personal development and evolution and many more.

    I liked the character DoRa. Although abused and traumatized since she was little, she managed to keep her inner beauty, kindness – even to the point of stupidity we could say – but, let’s not forget that many children traumatized by their parents can’t even open their mouths in front of them, let alone report them to the police, kick them out of the house, etc, especially in Korean society.
    Saying Stop is never easy, yet she did it when she was ready.

    I don’t know why, but a line from this show, spoken by PS”s mother, really struck me: “Go somewhere and die” … Amazing how easily can people throw away with words, how little respect they have for Life itself, how small-minded people are…

    I liked Ma Ri of course, Do Jin, grandma, Pil Sung character and although he was a villain I laughed at Jin Dan, the actor really fulfilled his evil-laughable character. Ah, and I would like to see Cha Hwa-Yeon (DR’s mother) in different kind of roles, other than a crazy lady with a pitchy voice – maybe a serial killer, or a prosecutor 🙂

    In conclusion, I enjoyed the series and, although it had too much drama in it, I recommend it to anyone looking for a family-oriented drama on weekend evenings.

  18. I know I kept ranting on how this drama stressed me but is it really a kdrama drama if it doesn’t give us stress? What a ride fam,well!! We have come to the end of the road and all I can say is this drama was my poison and antidote,some scenes made me so angry and I also enjoyed the fluffy parts.
    Want to also applaud Park do ra on her acting skills,she really improved a lot from her days of Gangnam beauty.super proud!! See you all next week for the new drama.
