Synopsis: “Qing Ren” is a drama based on the web novel by She Mu Si. The story follows the journeys of two individuals, Chen Mai Dong and Zhuang Jie. Chen Mai Dong, formerly a rebellious youth, becomes a funeral makeup artist after a life-changing event. Zhuang Jie, who became disabled after a car accident, works hard to become a successful medical salesperson in the big city. Amidst their personal struggles, they learn to understand and appreciate each other. Through love, they heal each other’s emotional and physical “imperfections”. The drama spans 21 episodes and portrays their journeys towards self-discovery and acceptance.
