A massive contrast between the games, the in control power plays of the three main characters in the first few episodes, until the stripped away increasingly revealed realities; which defines the imposed expectations and rules ridged enforced in their lives within their families. This is a beautiful series, shifting through differing a web of changing child parent relationships. Themes contrast the difference between parent expectations and the desires of children in sad sweet sometimes heart string experiences. The contrast between the apparent privileges and happiness of the main characters and the reality of family expectations, is a reminder that bonds of unconditional love are stronger than status wealth obligations.
