1. Seeing princess happy about a baby I feel conflicted… as a woman I feel sad for her .. as an audience she did much evil .. so idk. Yurong needs harsher punishment, this guy is a pure snake .. whatever he is trying to do … kill the baby or knows that baby stuff is fake .. ughhh. Cleverly he made the princess marry li jin. He is still the clean innocent pure scholar..

   if grandpa su is serious about his grandson then he better start telling him some truths, that boy don’t back down for no one. the emperor’s relationship w duke su makes him cool but i still don’t like him & how he passively benefits from all of jl’s hard work

6. wedding with a funeral! still she has that arrogance thinking all will bow and be a dog like SYR!! sad this Li boy is much more than her in arrogance! while thinking he got of her and has his happy meal and the devil arrives lol his expression!! Duke and his lady what a match they know what each one will do to handle tough times! he should have told her that he agreed to marry the princes for the army! looks like the prince got enuf weapons to start the war! Duke overstepping his powers! who is the real emperor! is it the duke who is behind all the plan and schemes!

   I loved the scene between Emperor and Xiao Heng. Xiao Heng was so oblivious about the repercussions of his methods lol

Wow, the whole scene with the Imperial Guard Office gave me whiplash; it escalated so fast but I’m glad Xiao Heng is starting to close in on the suspicious characters that instantly rose up after his father ‘died’ in battle. His grandpa also definitely knows the real truth too. But Zhang Wei’s reaction to use full force tho… really showing he has something to hide to try to keep his subordinate from talking. Emperor didn’t even know all that drama went down until heaps of petitions suddenly arrived on his desk… meanwhile Xiao Heng is just casually sipping tea as if its no big deal 🤣🤣🤣… he actually looked startled when the emperor exploded, haha… I just can’t with this man 🪭

   I hope they managed to get something useful out of the guy before he’s released… and on the flip side, I’m not too disappointed he is under house confinement for two days either (as if that would stop him anyway, or is it another act?). I need a mini break from Wanning and her two husbands. And I have been starving for some long overdue alone time with my favorite lovebirds since he blocked her from two engagements and dodged one of his own. And I better not see A CANDLE making a guest appearance again or else I will riot!

I admit the princess went through a lot there’s no doubt about that and no one deserves to be treated that way but life choices matter and that’s why I cannot feel any sympathy for her whatsoever. All her actions since returning home have been nothing but bringing harm and chaos to others so no matter how they want to portray her as this tragic creature that’s only reacting to what life has thrown at her I won’t accept she is only a victim of her own machinations.

    Duke Su, ouch! Two steps forward one step back. Okay, you have to change tactics a bit, the emperor has no choice this time with so many complaints he can’t be seen to do nothing and let you “run wild” this is a slap on the wrist, take it and recalculate.

    Shen Yuroung, Shen Yurong… if you listen to me Xue’er will live a peaceful life..hmmm, that look..and if she doesn’t you’ll what, get rid of it? I thought you couldn’t get any lower, smh.

12. I don’t pity the Princess at all. If she wanted to build her happiness off of another woman’s misery then all she deserves is misery in return.

    As for Shen Yurong…. he was so happy to have the Princess off his hands and married to another man. Unfortunately she is still refusing to let go so he is going to kill that “baby” himself in order to cut ties with her.

    Anyways all of this is just the beginning of what they (Shen Yurong, The Princess and her husband) deserve. Since they enjoy ruining other people’s lives- I look forward to seeing them attack and ruin each other.

    The way the director let the Shen character break the 4th wall was pretty impressive…that direct stare said it all.
    I keep thinking about that hairpin, is it a white chrysanthemum? Aren’t they usually reserved for funerals?

14. Love indeed makes one a fool. Wan Ning is wrapped up in a love fantasy and cannot see that her lover, who has broken free from her control, is trapping her in a deep web. What Wan Ning went through was tragic and I empathize with her, BUT she still had a choice and chose wrongly. She could have redeemed herself from the past, but instead, she decided to behave like the people who treated her badly.

    Bringing up a marriage alliance when you know the duke has feelings for someone else is some nasty work. I am glad the poison girl chapter is closed for now and she rejected the marriage

    Curious to see how Xiao Heng bounces back from this setback.

    Shen researching the rare herbs…I wonder if he is plotting a way to abort the non-existing child.

    That princess is gonna be in a world of crap when she finds out she is NOT with child, she is married to a man who LOATHES her, the Li find out she cannot be pregnant, and Shen is the cause of her “miscarriage”. That is a LOT for one person. Add all that to what she had endured at the hands of the ruler of another country… Yeah, her time is near. She has no idea the truck is rounding the bend, and headed straight for her…

16. Shen Yurong short lived happiness in dodging a bullet…Even tho Princess is despicable, I enjoy seeing her taunt that shitty son of the Li family
    Not sure about Grandfathers role here but He was funny in the Novel
