4. We don’t know if the stone really only supports one person, or if there is another reason that Situ’s mother died. Its possible that after killing so many people and watching her husband kill himself, she simply decided not to sustain herself. (which likely required blood.)

   Situ exists. So, unless there’s some mysterious mythology about being born from a mother in that state, clearly, more than one of them can be alive simultaneously.

8. really really sad and complicated past of shen family.. on one end the mom having to do what she did yet on dad’s end, how can he live with it. utterly sad.

12. Yeppppp as expected. Ahahahahaha. But what I didn’t expect was the stone only being able to sustain the life of one. I wonder what he’s going to do now though. Coz he needed the stone to figure out how to cure himself, but I doubt he’s gonna wanna cure himself now. Or maybe he’d still want to find a way to cure them both? But that would mean, if Mi Lan changes back to a normal human, she’d lose her eyesight again. And even if he doesn’t cure himself, he’s still gonna die anyway coz the stone is now giving power to Mi Lan.

    I think Li is gonna find out soon. So is Miss Mu. When they find out, it’s gonna be a bigger problem coz then they’d target capturing Mi Lan instead of him. I hope Mi Lan still has her sensitive hearing coz I doubt she knows how to fight and having that hearing skill would be great.

13. Hang on a sec….it seems the drama deviates slightly away from the novel cause if I remember correctly, it was Situ who turned Mi Lan not Shen plus I don’t remember the if you pass on the Amber stone blood thingy to someone else, then you become weaker….
    Though I still like the drama too. If it wasn’t before then in this ep. it was very apparent that Shen really cares for Mi Lan (as for what, well its open to interpretation). I was quite surprised actually that he turn her cause isn’t he the one who has been running around looking for his stepmother and bro to get them reverse/cure him etc. He has always been lamenting about how he feels cursed and wants to die etc so I didn’t see this one coming. I guess the mere thought of losing Mi Lan forever is too much of a pain to bare for him….and in Lionel Richie’s singing voice “They call it, we call it, you call it, I call it Looooove” 🎶 😉
    Aaah Li….sigh 🤦‍♀️🙆‍♀️ at this point he needs a psychiatric unit

14. Now probably Shen will understand what Situ felt when he was trying to save him. No other way to save him except turning him into this. Waiting for the bro’s reunion. Milan is more clever than shen, hope they didn’t get trapped by Lihua again. Idk what to say about Li..
