Synopsis: In this drama, two quantum AIs named Kuro and Shiro are created by Dr. Ke. Their purpose is to accompany and bond with Dr. Ke’s cryogenically frozen son. As they go through the five episodes of Q18, Kuro and Shiro begin to understand human nature, consciousness, and emotions. At the same time, they use their connection to the human brain to help the young boy with cryogenic syndrome experience love and friendship. But when Dr. Ke becomes concerned about the control technology has over their lives, he decides to destroy Kuro and Shiro, causing a conflict with his son.
