  1. So this is how Jiang Ci beautiful master died any way i won’t blame anyone because Wei Zhao was ready to help but she decided to believe the wicked Pei Yan mom now my man’s in trouble even me my thoughts are like for Jiang Ci i wish it was a dream but back to reality Pei Yan won’t leave his mom’s side claiming he loves Ci that she will be safe with him only in words no action šŸ¤£ i can’t with him she’s in sorrow and trouble ever since day one šŸ™‡

  2. Indisputable whom she cared about the most :- ME, MYSELF, I !
All she wanted was to gain glory for herself, everyone including her son was collateral damage on her way to the throne.
When it blew up in her face all she did was to blame it all on others for making her like that.

We have seen quite a few miserable, uncaring, greedy women in these period dramas. She’s right up there on the list. Unrepentant to the end! šŸ˜”

  3. Jiang Ci’s glimpse of her Aunt as she was leaving the palace was the beginning of the end for her sanity. What’s right or wrong, who’s to blame or not.
Aunt Yan on the other hand could never accept the death of the Prince and her sister. She was so clouded with wanting revenge against the Emperor, she stayed in the enemy camp causing her own death in the most stupid way. If she had left with Wei Zhao, all of this was avoidable.

Human nature and their unwillingness to let go of the past even when the present has been worth living for, is predictable!

The selfish, self obsessed Yudie who felt the world owed her because she wasn’t made wife to her youthful love is so laughable! For a seemingly educated, privileged background, freedom loving woman she’s certainly an unorthodox enigma.
Well this entire fiasco has been in the works since the Prince was killed. Everyone involved finally was in one place with no resolve to the mystery. Instead we got a bungling attempt at revenge by two women, an inactive Wei Zhao who wanted the truth but instead dug himself in deeper than ever.

I can see the future of the end of this series, and it looks like a bullet train rushing to the end of an unfinished track!

  4. Master Yan’s death was stupid !! She’s been running for over 20 years, never been caught to end up dying on the hands of another stupid woman who wasted her entire life, and her son’s, to take revenge from the man she once loved because he decided to marry someone else ?? And we still don’t know what really happened to Jiang Ci’s father and who gave the order to kill him … It’s getting super frustrating ngl!

  5. the emperor and Pei Yan’s mum are a catalyst for what has happened ….however Pei Yan’s mum is pyscho to hate someone for over 20 years because he didnt marry her am sure she thought really planned how she will make sure she bores a son and make him emperor.
the Aunt is was also emotional, I know she lost her sister and was probably devastated when she died but being an assassin she needed to put her emotions in check, she was out trusting anyone without an ounce of suspicion and she was older by then , she would have started investigating her prince Qin’s death

  6. Imagine dying as a collateral damage because of two stupid, paranoid and greedy people. Damn… I feel bad for Master Yan and Jiang Ci.

  7. Welp 30 years of her life wasted on hating a man who she stil harbors some feelings for. All that and it got her nowhere. Couldn’t she just be happy that she had a loving and devoted husband. Now Pei Yan’s career is doomed as well cause how can the relationship between him and the Emperor be the same. He’s already heavily guarded with who he trust.

And both men are dead to Jiang Ci now. One promising to safeguard her master but couldn’t hold up to the promise cause of circumstances and the other one who was indirectly involved just by being the son of the person who caused her Master’s demise. Still baffled at how Yan trusted Pei Yan’s mom. I can’t believe as an assassin she didn’t come up with a backup plan. I thought her #1 priority was to get Jiang Ci out and would bail to go get her. Why did she need to go and confront the Emperor. That’s already a death sentence she’s asking for. And Wei why didn’t you just include Ci on what was going on.

  8. Aw dannnng. WZ!! Why did you have to be there?! Also Inso wanted him to help Yan but I understand why he couldnā€™t. And now, it is even more unlikely that JC and Wei will be together. But I keep sayingā€¦neither of those men deserve her.

Peiā€™s mom is wicked. Wow. All this because he didnā€™t marry her. She had her eye on being empress and when that didnā€™t pan out, she was enraged. I doubt she really cared her husband died in battle. Itā€™s all an excuse. I told you, Yan!! Donā€™t believe a word that comes out of that snakeā€™s mouth. Peiā€™s mom is toxic!!! Now everyone is poisoned. Pei, WZ, JC, Yanā€¦ no one is unscathed.

I think to cause someone that much rage, that emperor cannot be fully clean. He probably did sacrifice her to be emperor. Maybe it was one of those things where she just wasnā€™t ā€œgood enoughā€ to be empress. Maybe her family background wasnā€™t high enough. Either way, he didnā€™t marry her. Then that was the catalyst for everything that followed.

I bet the emperor killed his brother, Prince Qi. I think he sacrificed Peiā€™s mom so he could be emperor. The Yan sisters became dragged into this because Prince Qi wanted to marry the older Yan sister. Peiā€™s mom used WZā€™s sister by making her think she was doing something for her tribe, probably. Then when the emperor falls in love with her and she has a child with him, Peiā€™s mom kills her and her newborn child. Probably hoping to hurt the emporer as much ad he made her hurt.

The Yueluo tribe was just dragged into all of this by the emperorā€™s greed and Peiā€™s momā€™s psychoticness.

And now, poor JC is left holding the bagā€¦and guiltā€¦and pieces of her broken heart.
