  1. My perspective on this drama is that I didn’t watch it actively from start to finish. I only caught glimpses until HW’s husband died and the last five episodes. Despite missing many backstories, I grasped the gist of the story. From the outset, HW appeared calculating and self-centered, always seeking what was best for herself. During her parents’ divorce, she overheard them discussing custody of the sisters. Realizing she would fare better with her father, she subtly influenced HJ’s decision. HJ, younger and naive, feared being sent to an orphanage if she didn’t follow her mother. Both sisters suffered from this separation, with HI enduring more hardship.

HW faced challenges with her stepmother, while HJ suffered abuse and poverty due to her mother’s gambling addiction. My main concern was why their father didn’t take a more active role in HIJs welfare although he didn’t have custody of her, allowing things to deteriorate. Initially, I didn’t understand why HW always made excuses to delay finding HJ whenever her father mentioned it, but now I do. I sympathize with HJ’s resentment and desire for revenge toward HW. However, if she had let go of that resentment and lived her life freely, she might have found happiness in her own way.

  2. What a long epilogue! A whole episode dedicated to this. This drama ended with with whimper, just like the couple with their no-happy-ending aerobics, no post-coital spooning and warmth

Well, the old fart, Mr. Satan, who had repented, had died and presumably had gone to Heaven. Hye-Won and Joon-Mo got married and a bun is in the oven. Sung-Yoon hooked up with his subordinate, (can remeber her name) and Lucia was not to be seen again. Drat! I really liked that woman.

Roll on Monday, that’s when Scandal starts. Hope it is not going to be a pain in the arse. I am still sore from being shafted by the “Two Sisters”.

  3. It’s finally over. Both sisters sucked as people, but Hyeji was annoying. I wish we saw Hyeji’s story get wrapped up. Hyewon was selfish till the end and felt guilt too late. And I feel like the whisper was never properly addressed, why? Yi-Chul’s ending was nice and I was glad to see Ji-Chang again (his death made me a bit sad.) Hyewon should’ve been punished a bit more. All the actors did their best with the material, I think Lee So-Yeon should stick to playing villains. Ha Yeon-Joo did not grow at all as an actress, I don’t wanna see her in another drama. Ever. The writing and pacing weren’t great at all. But I do think it’s slightly better than the last 2 dailies. The ending should’ve been a bit more tragic. Looking forward to Scandal, the next daily starring Han Chae-Young.

    My rating: 5.5/10.

See y’all at the next daily!

  4. i watched the last ep., this senseless drama is finally ended🤣
the number of comments here speaks for itself 🤣
i wonder why it took 104 episodes to tell the story. anyway happy its over🤣

  5. Watched from KBSDrama: Sung Yong remains hard to please with Minju, so this relationship is already wasted. Hyewon bare the guilty too late and getting nightmares with Hyeji. It wasn’t pointless imo and it weight much to the people she used against her sister out of revenge. Assuming her sister could still haunt her(Until the scene at the beginning of the drama), the moment they were separated from their parents divorce after that whisper was the moment Hyeji becomes the terrible person Hyewon created. Their mother already admit she wasn’t good enough to help Hyeji grow as a decent person and that relationship between them was damaged. I wasn’t on Hyewon’s side throughout the show. Ending it with nightmares and Yi Chul’s death is satisfying enough. This is one of the dramas I acknowledge the antagonist’s reasons and have sympathy.

I can picture what happens in the beginning of the show make this ending open ended. Bad things don’t happen as an excuse, they happen from trigger effect leading to catastrophe. Can’t waste my breathe being logical with why this world is truly a world ruled by the wicked one. If no one desire to help those mentally unstable by past abuse(Like Hyeji), they are NOT good people to me… Now I’ll take a break with Makjang dramas until Kim Yoo Jung’s first villainess protagonist role comes out. I want to help Hyeji no matter what she done. People deserve to change from doing bad things….
