  1. It was decent enough…good to pass the time but not epic like I expected it to be from the trailer

  2. This was stupid & the family the weakest as* family I’ve ever seen. Don’t stick together for nothing & should never had let the brother back. I was laughing & hope they waste time & energy for a season 2 because season 1 is bull??

  3. A 2nd season? Really? Ugh, I didn’t really expect that honestly. Anyways, a story about family, duty, individuality, freedom, secrets & truths . It was, for the most part, an enjoyable & cool take on the genre. I would’ve really preferred a closed ending though.
    Pros:
    – Action was really good & some of those moves were top notch.
    – Acting was also really good & the family felt pretty organic. All the other actors did well too. Though short, I did feel the attraction between the 2 Leads.
    – FX & cinematography were also really good. Most of the fights occurred during the night, but it was shot well enough where I could see it.
    – Some BGM & music choice were a bit off, but most of it really worked IMO.
    Cons:
    – There were too many instances of the Family got lucky & escaped death.
    – Main Antagonist was a dumb, God-complex spouting fool. Wasn’t interesting in the slightest.
    – Gaku’s turn feels a bit forced, granted I sort of understand, but it wasn’t earned. It just…happened.
    – Some things were hastily resolved like Haru’s PTSD & others weren’t due to a 2nd season in mind.
Personal Score: 8/10 As a shinobi series, I think it’s actually pretty good. It does irk me in certain areas, but I’d very much like a sequel to close this pretty cool take of a series.
Objective Score: 7/10 Certain points & development can be worked on, but I expected it from an 8 ep drama. A lot of the technical aspects are really well done & the story does draw the audience in.
