  1. lei wants to protect the world but he’s not strong or smart enough to…bc no one is, not even Mr li. its too soon for them to be foreshadowing his fate like this 😞😞, I couldn’t even lol properly at his kid cussing him out. but I like how he’s shielding his family from his reckless ambition he’s a good egg.

    i like the fl’s moral conflict, and her relationship with her master is so adorable, her sister is concerning though. i don’t think mr li ever plans on coming back😔, that foolish emperor and his stupid eunuch omg!

  2. Lei really screwed the pooch, kneeling for 2 days?!? Even his own daughter won’t help him. Will Dong Jun have enough time to brew a superior wine with so little time? What happen to that confidence in his wine? This is the guy he wanted to defeat in order to become famous and be the liqueur deity.

  7. The female characters are unnecessary. They are uninteresting and add nothing to the martial arts world – which is the theme of the story. Who cares about a fallen princess who wants to rebuild their kingdom? You lost the war and that’s it. Accept your fate and don’t drag others into your mess. (Honestly, how are BDJ & YDZ “responsible” to restore your country 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️)

    Who cares about a young mistress caged at home waiting to be wedded to a prince? Many people dream to be in your position. If you don’t want it, escape by yourself and don’t implicate others. (Your childhood friend is busy being on the run, working hard to improve his skills and taking action to clear his family’s name. He has enough on his plate to spare time to save a crybaby 🙄🙄🙄)

    I swear these women will be the downfall of the main characters. Unless they write strong female characters who can stand up for themselves and add colours to the plot, I don’t see the point of writing them at all. I’d rather they focus on the youngsters’ journey to develop as skilled martial artists. The action and strong friendship among them are beautiful enough to keep the story going.

  9. God Lei’s wife is totally savage 💀 … poor Lei, he is pitiful … but then maybe she is a bit like Dongjun’s description of the liquor he wants to brew – the most heartless is the most loving.

    The way Master Li is going about things, it is like he is saying his final goodbye to he ‘people’ 😕
