  1. The interaction between Fire and his mother is palpable.
This was not my favourite series; I found its plot to be prosaic and lacklustre. However not every series will be a blockbuster no matter the actors. Until their next series, The Trainee.

  2. ? Oh well, Min’s idol dancers didn’t make the cut this week in Cherry Magic ep.10 either.

? ? ? Not all good guys come out winning, but I am glad that The Three Must Eat-eers came out happy with their accomplishments and gained popularity for the dish they made for the final show.

Nice surprise for Samsee that his parents came to cheer for him.

Prem got grandma and Pang continual support.

? For a moment I felt bad for Dy, especially when Ten and Metha just looked back at him with no word in reply.

    ? Shout out for Neo’s teary performance. I was touched seeing Fy’s sobbing face. ? ? ?

? Bless Dy for being there. ?

? Still can’t get enough of Samsee and Metha bromance. ?️ ?? ?

? It was unexpected for me. Who knew that Pang had a crush on Samsee !? ?

? As always, I am ? happy for another Happy Ending. ?

  3. Happy Ending…though not their best work, but it was a fun ride. I enjoyed my time watching each and every episode.

Though I wish they would’ve focused more on Fire’s coming out storyline. Bls typically don’t focus on the “coming out” aspect as much but rather just self-realization of one’s own sexual preference so I was looking forward to it, but it was a big miss for me.

Still mad at how the 3 bullies were just let off the hook, but maybe they wanted to focus more on giving everyone a happy ending and not on the drama in the last episode

  4. Don’t come for me PLEASE, it is okay to disagree, but can someone recommend interesting BL’s with cooking/chef as a plot; every one that I have watched tends to be boring and dropped. I like this one tho!!

  5. OffGun you will always be famous. This series wasn’t as good as their other works but all in all it was a fun journey and as all journeys do it’s at an end and Off (pun intended) to the next series we go

  6. And here we are for a final dish of Cooking Crush.

Ngl the plot overall was lacking & dragging. Although the humor was on point that it had me cracking up at random times. ??? There was too much time wasted on dad and the money/scam situation, and not on Fy and his controlling mom. It would’ve worked out for the best if they had make it between episodes and not for this last one. Dy deserved better than to deal with her like this in the end…. just sayin’ it felt rushed in that sense. 3 scenes in total, one she acts like she can’t handle her son revealing the truth and choosing his partner with his heart, the other she admitting to be wrong and we don’t even get an insight of her realizing that at all and the final one where she is still talking rudely to Dy. ? Why should he be the silent obedient one now that Fy found his voice? Makes no sense to me, then again not enough time on their storyline so it was what it was. ? The best of this was the bickering of Samsee and Metha. They were the comical relief of the past episodes. ?

PS: the fact that the JJJ trio managed to bully through the series, share a recording that hindered people, and still managed to not take any blame for any of their wrongdoings and win it all, irks me a lot. Guess they focused this series on the food and it’s symbolic value for the main characters and let that aside to show that in life injustices do happen and people don’t always learn or pay for their actions… but still UGH I hope they manage to fail on something and their followers know how despicable those three can really be. ???

I’ve seen this series because it was light & cute. ? However, as much as I like Off and Gun in comedy content, I believe they really excel in series like Not Me. I miss having them in more serious & more challenging roles. Shame that the company doesn’t see the potential of the actors lineup it has to be pitching on quality original scripts and far better productions, like smaller companies are doing nowadays. It would certainly be an upgrade for the company, & not a step backwards like they seem to be doing with their latest and upcoming projects. True fans still see them, but the hope for better outcomes is on. ?
