  5. Hmmm some closure…. justice met out to the PD/uncle. I have to confess I did fast-forward the scenes with FL coz I have no patience in me today. The king has definitely captivated me from the start, his acting is flawless. And the only thing other than crown prince’s acting that I will remember. Im ready for this to end tomorrow.

  7. Court Lady Dong surprised me. I thought she would become resentful toward the King when she found out about Mong-woo and threatened him with his secret but she stayed loyal til the end.
    Myung ha is funny. He was acting like he was the mastermind behind framing the principal director when he just came around.
    Hyun-bo, that man and his self preservation.
    The uncle was nuts. You wanted to kill and now you’re asking leniency because you’re blood related.
    I wonder why the dowager wants her as DIL?

  10. Obviously, she will go to China… Heroes must pay a price (here separation) before happy ending (reunion). Also there was already one switch of character (the Princess), two would be too much for the story. And we see the little Prince crying in her arms as farewell… However we’ll get a final (real) date between her and the King, this time with her dressed as a woman !

    Ironic she’ll go to China while her father comes back to Joseon. Maybe they’ll
    travel on the same road and meet at some point ???

    I suppose a few years gap, classic for endings. The King abdicated for the
    young Prince. From then, he only plays baduk. All alone ? Or will he travel
    across Joseon to play games with strangers ? Until one day… “Here comes a
    new challenger !” And guess who sits in front of him ??

  11. Nothing much to say about the episode -went along on expected lines. The Principal Director stayed arrogant and unrepentant to the end – truly a nasty individual.

    Yong Ye Pyo survived like a cockroach – exile is too lenient for him. I hope Chu DulHara finds him and kills him to avenge Hongjang.

    Who else wanted to box in Myung Ha’s sumg face – boy! you are still standing because of the King’s generosity, wipe that smug look from your face and be humbled’. Although,tbh the King’s punishment for him was vey apt – forced to watch the excruciating last moments of the Principal Director, I think he learned a valuable lesson.

    The Queen Dowager – how will she react? Does she trul want Hee Soo as her daughter in law or will she use her secret to punish the King?

    Speculation for Episode 16 – I think she will go to Qing disguised as a man. The show could very well do a small time jump of some yrs after she goes away. And the King may end up playing baduk with her after the time jump (when she comes back to Joseon as the Qing’s representative) and asks for her as a gift from the Emperor when he wins the game.

    I would definitely miss the cast especially JJD and SSK. Surely, I’m captivated by this drama!❤️

  17. If Mong Woo is exposed as a female, then when she gets to the Qing Emperor, she will be made to marry into his harem. The Dowager can use the threat of her exposure to bargain with the King or to eliminate her and force the King to marry someone else to have a child. Possibly the male gidaeryeong will die and Kang Hee-Soo will emerge.

  19. I came here to see if someone had insight over why his mother wanted to turn her into her daughter-in-law. Was it simply to shame her and therefore expose her, or was she genuinely interested in having her become his wife?

    I’m a little disappointed. It doesn’t look in the preview that she will be his queen 🙁

  21. I will not be please if Kim Myung Ha doesn’t get some form of punishment. I don’t want his character redeemed or anything, but his smugness preventing him from saying the many ways he’s sinned means he’s never once tried to atone for his sins.

  22. Is it me or is it me, I am seeing episode 16 instead of 15. I am sure it is me only. But on Netflix it says episode 15.

    Anyway, this episode was well worth the with for that uncle to die. about time really. And now the Q dowager has finally found the strength to want to live again. Let us see if the emperor would allow her to win .

  24. Wow truly amazing how the queen dowager suddenly found the strength to not unalive herself after finding out the gidaeryeang’s a woman. But we already knew she lost her marbles when she asked for leniency for her brother who had just tried to kill her son….

  25. court lady dong had the most powerful man in the kingdom as her very own personal genie and what did she do with that? its like they said in dae jang geum- you should know your reality and let it push you forward, she clearly didn’t bc why were you trying to fight for status and position when your life wasn’t even assured

    so kim myung ha gets to come out on top ?, and y does he look so smug? he’s clearly another principal director in the making, with time the memory of the current director’s cartoonish death will fade while his hunger for power will only grow . yoo the roach, started as a deceitful, treasonous turd, continued on and ended as one, its the consistency for me.

    ? that ending cracked me up, i think the queen mother finally ran mad the girl said no why are you forcing her lmaooo

  26. I liked a lot this episode. The uncle’s mentality is really something: being a family doesn’t exonerate him from being punished….His punishment was quite fair.
    I enjoyed when the QD was trying to make the baduk player her daughter-in-law…
