  1. I missread a posting about the show and thought it was just 4 episodes so I binge watched it expecting closure. I was surprised with the end of the 4th episode, wtf. I then checked MDL to see it is 12 episodes which makes my heart happy as I will get to see Qi Lu & Qin Xiao for eight more episodes.

  2. Starting off with the very resistant/panicked hospital scene with our second couple and then the whole hearing aid/implant scene about broke me. Plus, learning the reason behind the whole panic/resistance to wanting to even go to the hospital sent me over and just left my heart broken. Our lead couple is just the sweetest and absolutely down bad for each other.

I wish that other Chinese television production companies would learn or take leads from this production company and the production company who produced stay with me and take their bl drama’s that have been basically vanished into thin air by the censorship board and produce them outside of china so that their hard work can finally be viewed and seen by others. *cough cough* Im looking at you eternal faith producers……

  3. OH MY GOODNESS THIS IS SO GOOD WHAT THE HECKKKKK THEM DRAWING EACH OTHER?!?! THE PICTURES THEY TOOK TOGETHER??!?!?! THE LITTLE TOUCHES?!?!?! AND THE OTHER PAIR TOO??? THE HUG??? AND THE HEARING AID “GEGE” SCENE AND AND AHHHH I CANT BELIEVE WE’RE ACTUALLY GETTING SOMETHING THIS GOOD??? AM I DREAMING???

  4. Another parent that cant get over their partner and beats their kid. 😒

man they each have their own struggle.. Im looking forward to seeing how this plays out.

  5. Idk how this was filmed, produced and released there in China, but it’s here where international viewers get to appreciate. For a country with restrictions on such genres, this production is way better than those Southeast Asians that have been making and releasing bl series. Everything about this is good and enjoyable. The story, filmography, sound, direction, script and screenplay, acting, and the young handsome talents are all top notch quality. According to their portfolio here on MDL, this series is a first project for all four of the main leads.

I was instantly drawn to all the characters. Each has come with his own burden or struggle. Qi Lu an aspiring sketch artist responsible for his grandfather who slowly succumb to Alzheimer. Qin Xiao an award winning young artist suffers his excessive controlling father’s strict upbringing. Tanyi a deaf youth ran away from home shun by his parents because they found out he’s gay. Lastly, Liu Yang a handsome Art Camp Director suffers a loss of his own biological brother.

I enjoy the first four of twelve episodes. The story is very engaging. The chemistry between the main characters is very agreeable.
