1. This is not any comparison… but I just see flashes of yuzhou in my mind and feel like crying. Addicted was my first bl and I am very attached to them. I should go reread the book

2. It seems that this is a condensed version. It’s only 10 episodes according to MDL. Also, the pranks happened and the dispute between them has already been resolved all within the first episode.

   Anyway, like all other remakes, I will give it a shot and see this through new eyes.

   I’ve never read the original novel. So I can’t tell whether this version has the correct events that happened between the boys. However, I like Hero’s way of punishing the perp to avenge Pop. 😈 😬 😁

   This cleaning chicken poop disciplinary would be the beginning of their peaceful friendship.

   But, this is so wrong.

   I can’t believe that the above scene just faded and the next scene is a closeup shot of…Pop’s snack break at work. 🍳🍚

3. 2 mins in and I turned it off. Nah! ‘Stay with me’ spoilt me real bad. And no hating on Thailand but no one does Chinese adaptations better than the Chinese!

4. The Thai version of Addicted Heroin is not bad at all for the first episode.
   I’m quite pleased that this version didn’t copy the original entirely.
   The guys are very handsome. Hero (who has a bit of an Ohm vibe) doesn’t have anything to envy from the original 😆 because he’s just as good-looking as J Huang (whom I adore). This is going to be very interesting.
   You can already see that the main actors have great chemistry, and I’m sure the directors really focused on this to make the series somewhat true to the original!

5. Personally, I don’t know how I feel about the leads being 27 and 16 irl (according to MDL), in a series with very clearly explicit themes, even if it’s only fiction. That is, if it stays true to the original.

6. Addicted was my first BL ever and I’ve rewatched it many times. so I’m another kind of excited for this. I’m so scared of disappointment but can’t not give it a try. Please be good please please T_T

   after watch: the first episode was ok. i think the vibe is close to the Chinese one and i really like the guy playing Hero. I don’t know what to think about Pop yet, i guess we gotta wait and see more of him. (this user is not very optimistic. he feels a bit stiff.)

   btw am i the only one who kept being reminded of History 3 Make Our Days Count? T_T why the plots are so close T_T maybe it’s just this episode T_T

7. Finally, it’s here! But let’s not be excited too fast! 😉 I‘m unsure if this is a better version of the Chinese one…. The first episode was okay, but I think it concluded half the story!!! 😅 waiting to see the next episodes! ✌️😍

10. The Chinese version is the best version, I have ever seen,too bad there’s no season 2, let’s see if this thai version can beat it.

11. Omg it’s here. Idk how to feel about this. The original novel is a hit, of course, and we have quite a few “failed” live adaptations. I could only wish this version won’t disappoint.
