  1. This is so sad and so heartwarming at the same time
The way he learned to keep to himself but all that breaks out of jealousy is painful.
He likes him so much,as a soul as a memory
That’s his love that his eyes was yearning for.
When his mother said “asami, when you smile don’t show your teeth”omg this broke me,his smile fell instantly and he took a step back
His childhood is such a lonely one, nobody actually acknowledged him for who he is,
I actually always wondered what made yuki the character that he is,why does he have such an eye and honesty, his straightforwardness,I want to have a little background about him too.

  2. I am not a huge scoring guy, but the score/sounds of this drama is insane. The way the notes shift, the melody, the strings, it kept your attention so well. Whoever scored this drama needs a raise, i wanna meet them. it took my breath away

  3. I liked how this episode was solely focused on Asami’s POV. Who he is as a person, why’s he the way he is, and when and why he starting having a crush on Yuki. I cannot imagine how suffocating it must have been for him to live with his mother. Having to hide his emotions and numb his feelings, hiding behind so many layers. Acting was the 1st thing that made him feel alive.

Even then, people were more concerned about his appearance. Yuki was the 1st person who looked past his pretty face and admired the worthy and capable person he is inside all that external beauty. Asami doesn’t need to hide behind a shell infront of him, to him he’s “the most beautiful memory and the most special person” and I love that for him.

On another note, seeing Yuki so headstrong and confident in the flashbacks made me wonder what made him so underconfident and self-doubting in the present-time??? Is there a backstory to that as well??

  4. Someone said we have 3 episodes left and now I’m worried about the heartbreak before the happy ending ?? But I loved Hayama’s POV!! Dude has been into Yuki since day one ?? Now if only they could actually share their inner thoughts and feelings to each other. But being the way they are, it was kind of expected both of them would hold back. Now they’re both in pain ?? Can’t wait for when they confess their real feelings. I can see myself crying buckets. These two actors did so well! I’m so hooked with the show and their characters! ??????

  5. I’d been waiting for a Hayama centric episode since I started watching it, and it did not disappoint. Gosh, this boy holds Shirasaki so close to his heart and he tries so hard to not let it show. I adore him so much, I want to give him a huge hug.
The fact that Shirasaki had such an impact in Hayama’s life makes me think of how we could have the same effect on someone else and we’ll never know about it.

I’ll never get tired of switching povs for a while and showing some scenes you’ve already seen but with the other characters perspective. It’s something I love so much.

I was thinking that my feelings towards this show have escalated since I started it. When I started watching I wasn’t sure I was going to like it, I almost dropped it once or twice . Now I’m so glad I didn’t cause the last few episodes have been so good, the pacing has been great and the storytelling too, now this is the show I’m looking forward to watch every week

  6. ? What to say…if only Yuki knew he was stalked by Asami’s object of desire since college days.

  7. Asami had been eyeing Yuki since he first saw his name, and he didn’t even know how he looked like. It was sad that everyone only focused on his looks but not his other efforts. And it was even sadder that he actually accepted it. His genuine smile when he saw the feedback from Yuki who complimented only his acting, not his looks. It was Yuki who initiated talking to Asami, not the other way round, and it was to show his disappointment that Asami was going to be a model instead of an actor. But Yuki didn’t even remember talking to him ?

It was actually quite scary that a person’s personality was shaped by his/her childhood experiences. In this case, Asami learned to keep everything inside and never reveal how he actually felt as he tiptoed around his sensitive mom. He stayed the same way as he grew up and even as an adult. This was why he was attracted to Yuki who freely expressed how he felt without reservation. He envied Yuki and wanted to be like him.

  8. SPOILER… I loved getting more answers to the questions I had this ep and especially getting Asami’s POV… Poor childhood Asami? Having to feel like you have to hide your true emotions and feelings like that must have been more than “numbing”. I wonder if that’s why he decided to become an actor in the first place, where he could freely express himself through different characters?? But people judging him only for his good looks back in his university days and not his ability to act must have stung? Asami fell in love with the person, Yuki, who saw through him in those survey feedback responses and his ability to act. That gave him more than just superficial answers about his looks. That made me smile too? He actually did fall in love with his 1st nr 1 fan. Yuki was the 1st person to really believe in him and in return Yuki became Asami’s “most beautiful memory and special person”? Asami doesn’t hide under or behind his “shell” bc of him, I love that. These writers tied in the past episodes so well with this one. I just wish we didn’t end exactly on the same “break up” scene as last ep.? I hope that now that Asami won’t let others “take” Yuki from him he’ll be brave enough to express himself freely and honestly. It looks like we might be getting closer to these two finally sharing the truth about how they feel for one another next time? 3 episodes left. P.S. When that guy told Asami that Yuki was the opposite of him, I found that interesting bc on the surface Asami seems confident, cool and outgoing. Yuki seems like the complete opposite especially in a group/ social setting, but the truth is Yuki says how he feels without much filter. He’s open and maybe awkwardly direct but he’s direct (except about his feelings for Asami and telling him about those feelings) and I think that is part of why Asami fell in love with Yuki, observing and admiring him from afar. He wanted to possess some of Yuki’s attributes. I loved getting these flashbacks and context to these two? But I think when that guy said that Asami had many walls (up) and didn’t know how he felt or thought about things, I don’t think that necessarily has to be the case. You can know how you feel about something but not feel comfortable showing it to others. To me, that’s two different things.
