1. HUH!! IS Right…..Well SO FAR…….ALSO the ONLY thing Im GRATEFUL FOR IS that episode twelve gave me SOME answers!!!! EXCEPT WHY hold off on the PAST lives part??? I MEAN I kinda suspected THAT that Yoh and Pun lived past lives together BUTT WHY at THE END??? Shakes head……
   SO they REALLY started this off with a break up?? Huh…..WOW!! No….’Im going to fight for my man’ and “crash the wedding” shenanigans either???? They’re REALLY breaking MY HEART here…….Like WTH…….Id have stormed the wedding and staked Janja in the heart and fought for ‘my man’ but yea separating IS good{Inserts sarcasm}……

   WHOM are the men in suits with Pun on the rooftop after Komsai and Jam left……Bodyguards???? Groomsmen/Best men?????? WHEN or WHERE HAVE ALLLLLLLLL these ‘friends’ been at the PAST 11 FREAKING EPISODES!!! Shakes head Thats CRAZY I feel like Im watching a magician pull magic rabbits out of a damn hat right now crazy crazy crazy…………
   Did they REALLY JUST give Janja a ‘redemption arc’ so to speak AND a ‘girlfriend’ OR IS/Was the school girl JUST obsessed with being bitten by Janja and now shes become jealous……
   Yoh IS STILL as slow witted at EVER BUTT perhaps he doesnt recall his past lives????
   Good to see Somchai’s still rotten to the last drop……..
   Yoh pretty sure those were lies…..
   WHERE IS Master Tuiyi????? ANYBODY seen this damn cat this episode at all…..OR WAS Master Tuiyi a ‘familiar’ and he took human form IN this hogwash of a LAST episode??? Speak of the devil {cat} LOL
   WHAT IS with Janja ‘allowing’ them to BE TOGETHER??!!! Guys I KNOW is HARD BUTT try to THINK for yourselves here!!!
   OH MY!! They ACTUALLY went there!! and made Yoh an OLD man……Pardon my sudden shudder…….shakes head…………
   Hopefully Im NOT jinxing myself when I say this BUTT there better NOT be a ‘Special episode’ for this!! THIS drama NEEDS to END RIGHT HERE….Ill scream IF they give us anything else LOL

2. Somchai and Janja’s annoying a***s can go kick rocks. Also loved Kamsai basically c*ssing out Pun for breaking Yoh’s heart.

   I really wished Pun stood up for himself faster. Oh our dads promised? I don’t see an ‘I’ in that.

   It really took her almost 1000 years to see that he’s just not into her.

   The story is very slice of life because it follows these elements:

   1. “A Slow-Paced Episodic Structure Instead of an Overarching Story” (cbr(dot)com): college students just living their lives day by day, being friends, working on projects together encountering supernatural elements i.e. vampires in their lives while having to rework in their brains if the myths/stories they’ve heard about vampires are true because they meet such an oddball named Pun. But then during the finale they give us the overarching story of Yoh being Pun’s soulmate because he always finds ‘them’, in whatever lifetime, with that defining birthmark. And yet, in this lifetime, this is the first time Yoh actually lives out his days naturally with Pun by his side.

   2. “The Absence of Action and Heavy Themes” (cbr(dot)com): That much is true. It isn’t full of heavy conflict, or action packed or any levels of heat. The only time conflict comes is when Somchai’s being an annoying a** or when Pun and Yoh’s relationship is threatened or Yoh feeling hurt when Pun looks like he’s actually moved on with Janja.

   The slow paced nature of the show isn’t for everyone. And part of the reason why I think it can be unnerving for some, especially when you’re not part of the main circle but a part of the ‘general public of supporting characters’ especially the faceless ones on social media, because I’m sure if anyone irl encountered stories of a vampire ‘attacking’ others we’d have the same reaction and brush it off as fake. In stories we’re usually accustomed to people brandishing their pitchforks in a gathering mob, ready to chase these vampires from hiding, protecting their own with an us vs them mentality. In real life, that’s just impossible and we have understandably disassociated ourselves from the ‘real’ versus the ‘reel’.

   Sometimes the journey of life may not give you all the answers along the way, may not make the ‘themes’ or the ‘overarching story’ click until you reach the end with the realization that even something so unassuming as a birthmark would be the marker for Pun looking for a specific person in every lifetime. It would show that Pun’s instant attachment to Yoh never happened out of the blue.

   There is also the strong possibility that the reason why they had to find each other over and over again is because the life where they actually got their happy ending, where Yoh isn’t killed by Janja, where he grows old and lives out his life with Pun is the final ‘scene’ of their story because here we actually have arrived at the end goal in sight, with both of them being together. There may not or will not be any more reincarnations after that. And that is what makes it such a bittersweet ending.

5. That was kind of a let down. I mean first off you got this girl slobbering after Pun for over 900 years. I mean come on.. then they got her killing Yo in his previous lives because she was jealous ?and even after all the time she killed him in those other lives Pun still didn’t want her. Now I would think unless Pun didn’t know she was the one that was killing Yo all those times I would’ve thought that he would’ve killed her long time ago.
   Plus the way they ended it like seriously why not just have them actually together when the both of them are about to die. Why leave it where Pun just waiting on Yo again for his last years.
   Pun seems to have always been more human than vampire. I’m just gonna assume he got that from his mother’s side.
